A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HR ASSISTANT As an HR Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in a company that's been making customers happy for 38 years! Your main role will be to support our HR Manager in her mission to develop happy and successful employees, which in turn leads to a thriving Naturescape.
You will be a valued member of the Naturescape HR team and learn about and utilize knowledge in various HR topics, such as payroll, employment law, performance management, insurance administration, employee benefits, and workers' compensation.
You will be a key communicator with our employees, providing relevant information and offering support for any questions they may have.
You will have the opportunity to engage and empower our management team, actively contributing to developing their skills and aligning them with Naturescape's overarching goals.
You will learn how to efficiently and accurately handle payroll, HR administrative, and insurance processes.
You'll also play a significant role in managing claims related to worker's compensation, business insurance, and health insurance.
In addition, you will also have the opportunity to share your ideas and suggestions on how to make these processes better and more efficient.
You will learn and research information such as benefit options, technological tools, and laws and regulations.
You will then have the opportunity to explore applying this knowledge to how Naturescape operates.
You will enjoy the planning and executing of special events, such as our eagerly awaited annual company picnic.
You don't need to know about all of the above topics, but you must have some experience or education in HR.
We are excited to teach you everything else, as long as you are open to learning and growing with us.
In addition, this is a new role within Naturescape and you'll have the opportunity to participate in the refining of the responsibilities of this position.
