Next Level Professional is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for our client in the Muskego area.
This individual is primarily responsible for forecasting materials requirements for both production and engineering needs and to maintaining inventory levels.
Candidates require a Bachelors degree and APICS/ISM/or Supply Chain certification is preferred. At least 7 years of progressive experience is preferred, with experience in a regulated purchasing industry is required (such as food.)
Experience with ERP systems is required and knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, and understanding of purchasing, inventory, accounting, and accounts payable. This role will be working with production, engineering, and quality. Vendor selection and negotiation, inventory, issuing purchase orders, and working closely with accounting is also part of the role.
